Suggested Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Trieste and check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 2: Breakfast. Free day to visit on your own Trieste, a multicultural city, crossroads of peoples and cultures. A visit to the centre of Cavana and Crosada, the beautiful Piazza Unità d’Italia, the Theresian Quarter with its elegant palaces, the Revoltella Museum - renowned modern art gallery featuring works by the most famous Jewish artists from Trieste, the Risiera di San Sabba - the only Nazi extermination camp existing in Italy, now an important commemorative monument, the lavish Serbian-Orthodox Church of San Spiridione decorated with monumental mosaics, and the church of S. Nicolò dei Greci of the Greek-Orthodox community. Overnight in Trieste.

3rd day: Breakfast. In the morning individual visit with the multimedia guide to the area of the former Jewish ghetto,  the "Carlo e Vera Wagner" Museum of the Jewish Community, which has inaugurated a new hall entirely dedicated to the memory of the Shoah, and the monumental Synagogue, considered to be the largest in Europe, where you can follow an interesting guided tour. For those who are more curious, it will be possible to discover the Morpurgo Museum, in the former flat of the Jewish family Morpurgo, featuring their original furniture, the Umberto Saba Antiquarian Bookshop, of the Bomboniera confectionery founded by the Eppinger Jewish family, and the Old San Marco Café, ever since a meeting point for such Triestine intellectuals as Umberto Saba and Italo Svevo.
